The divisions of Gunther Engineering, Inc., Aspinwall & Lincoln*, William S. Crocker Co., New England Survey Service, Survey Engineers Of Boston, and J. F. Hennessy Co., combined and in succession, have provided continuous professional consulting, civil engineering and land surveying services in the Greater Boston area, for over 125 years.   These divisions bring over a century of knowledge and expertise.

 

We maintain the oldest private collection of survey data, such as field notes and property plans in the City of Boston, dating back to 1877. In support of our tradition of reliability and precision, our experienced staff utilizes modern electronic field equipment, computers, and CAD software to produce the highest quality and most reliable surveys and designs documents.

 

Gunther Engineering, Inc. and it's divisions provide professional services to assist our clients in development, planning, design, construction, investment, financing and refinancing of commercial and private Aspinwall & Lincoln Field Book ca. 1878real estate and public works projects. In cooperation with architects, building contractors, and attorneys, our services include site civil engineering design, permit assistance, design of utility (water, sewer, drain) extensions and connections, subdivision design, utility studies, hydrographic surveys, harborline issues, tidewater license c. 91, ALTA/ACSM title insurance surveys and certification, monitoring of structures, construction control of high-rise buildings. We are consultants on wetlands issues and provide expert witness testimony on a range of civil engineering & land data issues.
